I have been honored to support hundreds of new and expectant parents as a Certified Professional Midwife, Birthing From Within mentor, and Doula since 2003.

Like flowers that are given ample sun and rain, I see families thrive with personalized, compassionate care. I bring you experience supporting families in birth in a diversity of settings - home, hospital and birth center - across the U.S. and in the Philippines.

As I take time away from midwifery practice to nurture my own growing family, my role as midwife extends beyond the traditional role to include prenatal classes, doula care and groups for new mothers. As “midwife”, I am here to witness and support your birth into parenthood. I am honored to offer Birthing From Within prenatal classes at the Monadnock Birth Center. Through the classes, I offer resources and information while affirming your unique strengths and innate abilities to give birth and parent. My work is also enriched by my pregnancy and motherhood journey. My son Samuel was born in 2008 and I understand the hard work of labor and the tenderness of new parenthood. While my experiences are my own, I draw upon the universal aspects of this journey to help you on yours.

I give my full attention, experience as a seasoned birth attendant, and thoughtful guidance to each family I work with. It is a joy to witness parents blossom as they discover new depths of strength, courage and trust within themselves.

My home is a small homestead in Putney, Vermont surrounded by gardens and forest. When I am not busy mentoring or attending births, I enjoy gardening, photography & poetry, and spending time with my amazing family.
