I am a stay-at-home mother of my two children, Benjamin and Amelia. Being a stay-at-home
and homeschooling mother is where I feel the happiest and most in line at this time with my life's
purpose. I love to work in marketing & graphic design when time and my children allow...which
isn't much, but it's my passion, aside from my role as mother and teacher.
I came to know Mary when I became pregnant with my first child and knew that having a birth at
home was what I had always wanted. When Mary decided to open the Monadnock Birth Center,
I was so elated, as this meant that there would be an option for families who want a natural birth
outside of a hospital setting, but who don’t feel totally comfortable having a baby at home.
Because of my deep belief that a woman's body is designed to give birth naturally, and because
every woman deserves the best possible opportunity to have the birth experience she desires,
I feel an urgency to get the word out that this option is available to expecting families. I am
pleased to serve as the Community Coordinator for the Monadnock Birth Center. In this role I
serve as a conduit between the Monadnock Birth Center and the community, helping to design
events and services at the Birth Center that will best meet the needs of the women and families
in our region. I love to support things that I believe in!
Please feel free to write to me at Suzanne@monadnockbirthcenter.com with your ideas for how
the birth center can serve you in ever better ways.
